All permission slips need to be turned in ASAP. The cost is 
$8.00 per person. Please be sure I have your driver info. and we also need a copy of your car insurance and a copy of your driver's licence.

HARVEST CARNIVAL-- Our harvest carnival will be here before you know it. We need lot's of help. PLEASE stop by the classroom and sign up to help. We still have lot's of time slots that need to be filled. We have a VERY BUSY booth that night so the more help the better for our class.Thank you.

This weekend as we were cleaning out my sons room( Nick)
we came across a couple of books. When Nick was little a family from Japan attended our school. Long story short Nick made new friends and one of the friends gave him a special book. Guri & Gura  By: Reiko Nakagawa and Yuriko Yamawaki. This is a sweet story about friendship and sharing. The neat thing about this book is I don't only have 1 copy but 2 copies. 1 in English and the other in Japanese.The children really enjoyed looking at the different styles of writing. This is a perfect example of how great our God is. How he gives us the gifts of different languages and talents.Thank you Richie for the fond memories.

Just a reminder : Each week we go over a Bible verse and the children will be asked to recite the verse for a grade on Friday. This will also count as part of their Bible grade on their report cards.

As most of you know I was out last Friday on a field trip with my youngest son Jackson. Then on Monday and Tuesday I was in Los Angeles. My middle son Nick left for the Air Force.I'm sorry about the homework packets. The children will have homework next week and they will have an extra week for memorizing their Bible verse.Sorry for the mix up. I would also like to thank you for the water bottles.If your child brought in water please let me know so I can be sure to give them coins.
